Willard Rorke would have been three months old in this picture. Gertrude Rorke Diller was in fact Willard’s Aunt. His mother had died in either childbirth or a little after his birth. Gertrude Rorke Diller raised Willard.

Betty Rorke died at a young age and Virginia Rorke Mckim died in 1998.
